Why We Began

Ceremoria began with a simple refusal: the refusal to let the moments that shape a life quietly disappear.

When we looked at traditional funeral guest books, we felt that many were created to serve a single day — not to honor the lifetime of memories they represented. The pages were there to collect names. But we believe they can hold so much more: stories, handwritten memories, the words that reveal who someone truly was.

Ceremoria was created by two best friends through KMB&Co., with a shared belief that the moments we share with the people we love deserve to be preserved with care. With backgrounds in law and social work, we have always been drawn to what matters most — people, families, and the connections that make a life meaningful.
